Early Career Faculty Mock Study Section - Deadline Monday, March 4, 2024
If you would like to participate in the mock study section, we request applications be sent to the Coordinating Center for selection of review in the Mock Study Section.
The Mock Study Section accepts all types of proposals (R21, R01, pilot applications, K08, etc). Preferred format is a full PDF document.
All proposals should include a cover page containing the following details: PI Name, Pepper Center, Funding Mechanism, and Proposal Title.
Applications will need to be submitted to the OAIC Coordinating Center via email [email protected] no later than Monday, March 4, 2024.

Senior Faculty Reviewers

Early Career Faculty Mock Study Section
Senior faculty attendees are invited to participate as senior reviewers. Senior faculty reviewers will provide a short written review of the assigned proposal by filling out at least the Overall Impact section of the standard NIH form. They will also need to be present at the Mock Study Section on Thursday, April 25.

Poster Session

Poster Session to be held Thursday evening April 25 and Friday morning April 26, 2024
The Poster session allows for 3 poster presentations per Pepper Centers.
Each poster should share the following:
1. Reflect a Pepper Center’s current work
2. A Pepper Center’s core structure
3. Work of an Early Career Faculty member

Posters submissions are required to submit an abstract to accommodate their poster prior to the meeting. Guidelines will be distributed by the OAIC Coordinating Center and located on the OAIC National Website. The deadline to submit abstracts and reserve a poster is March 18, 2024.
