WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Monday, September 21, 2026 (In Person pre-workshop begins at 9 am and then opening keynote in evening with dinner)

Begins with a full day in person pre-workshop session focused on "Implementation Science Scholars in Aging and Geriatrics Research Intensive" for invited early career scholars to provide implementation science mentorship and training at the beginner and intermediate levels for research aimed to address any/all component(s) of VA work and Implementation.

We will be sharing specific expectations of all selected scholars attending pre-workshop in the coming weeks.

Monday, September 21, 2026 (In person evening Keynote Speakers & Dinner)

Formal start to the workshop includes Dinner with Keynote Speakers to discuss VA Implementation.

Tuesday, September 22, 2026 (In person full day - virtual option available)

A full day of case examples, panel presentations and interactive sessions on topics including: 

- VA Examples of Implementation across research stages

- Reverse Translatability from VA to non-VA settings

- Health Economics: Costing & Return on Investment in VA Implementation

- Technology & AI in practice along with panel discussion evaluating and governing AI in Implementation
